Returns & Exchanges

We want to make sure that you have a wonderful experience at Bite The Apple Boutique.  We offer quick and easy returns if something does not work out for you.  

All returns or exchange requests will be fulfilled with an emailed gift card, per the return policy listed below. We do not provide a monetary refund, nor credit the original credit card. Please note, exchanges are never guaranteed. Due to the high order volume and frequent sell outs.

Returns will only be accepted when:

• Return complies with all policies listed; this firmly applies to all of our customers.
• A return as been initiated on the returns page of our website.
• Returned item is received back to us within 30 days of ship date.
• Item must be in the same condition in which it was sent. Unworn or unused, with all tags still attached-never removed, and in its original packaging.  All items must be free from any deodorant or make up marks, spray tan residue, smells including perfume and smoke, and pet or human hair. 
• Client has shipped the item at their cost, after receiving a completed return form from BTAB, to accompany the item.

We do NOT accept returns of the following:

• All items marked Final Sale, Last Chance, All Clearance collection items.
• Swimwear, bodysuits, accessories, including all jewelry, hairpieces, hats, masks, lingerie, panties, socks, items sold under the intimate’s collection, and sunglasses.
• Items from our monthly subscriptions or prepackaged or custom gift boxes.
• Items that are bundled, sold as a lot, or as a complete look where discounted pricing is given.
• Any item that has been worn or used, has had tags removed- even if readded, any dirty items including items with deodorant marks, smells including perfume and smoke, make up marks, spray tan residue, pet or human hair.
• Gift Cards.
• Bonus gifts, free gifts with purchase, or mystery boxes.
• Shipping Services, including shipping insurance or gift wrapping.

Our Returns Department has the right to refuse any returned item that does not meet the original condition. In this instance, the item will be returned to you, only if you provide a prepaid shipping label within 5 days of our email notification. Unclaimed items will be donated to a nonprofit organization of our choice.

Damages & Defects

Please inspect all orders upon receipt.  Contact us within 3 days if the item is defective, damaged or the wrong item was received, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  Email hello@BiteTheAppleBoutique.com if an item is damaged or has a defect that we did not catch during our inspection.  Please enter DAMAGED in the subject line, include the order number, original email, pictures, and a description of the damage, along with your contact information.  Damages or defects caused by trying on an item, or by the shipping carrier are not the responsibility of the boutique. 

Lost or Stolen Packages and Damaged Deliveries

Boutique is only liable for packages until a tracking number is generated and the package is dropped at the shipping facility.  Customers will receive a notification containing the tracking number and customer may opt to receive alerts regarding shipping status at their discretion.  Once packages have left our hands, they are out of our control, and we are no longer liable for them. 

As a service to our clients, all orders have the option to select a 3rd party shipping insurance, which will cover the package in transit from the Boutique to the shipping address.  Boutique strongly encourages the use of the 3rd party package insurer.  If you opt not to utilize this service, any claim for lost, stolen, or damaged packages are between you and the shipping carrier.  If you opt to use this service, your claim is between you and the 3^rd party insurer. 

In an effort to prevent and resolve shipping issues we suggest the following:

• Consider sending the package to your business address, if appropriate.
• Confirm the shipping address on your confirmation is accurate.
• Keep your shipping alerts on, so you can immediately retrieve your package upon delivery
• Check with neighbors to see if the package was delivered to them in error. Post information on Next Door, if your community utilizes this website.
• Call the shipping company and request their assistance in locating the package.

Shipping will be charged to the purchaser at a flat $7 for all destinations within the continental United States.  Free shipping promotions, or qualified free shipping promotions are available from time to time.  

Any returns or exchanges will be at the expense of the purchaser.

Boutique will provide a shipping label.  Once the shipping label has been generated, and the package has left our location, Boutique is no longer responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
